Kanai Musubi
The "Kanai Musubi" is used in rituals and protective amulet pouches. It is named so because the front side looks like the kanji for "mouth," and the backside looks like the kanji for "ten."
It is said to "grant all wishes," making it an auspicious knot.
A favorable Kanai Musubi knot is placed in the center of the haori string, so that wishes and desires may be granted. The knot is flat, preventing it from being bulky and giving a clean look to the haori string.
It can be used for everyday use or for casual outings.
