Five Features of
Full-Size Custom Samue KIARA

01

Embodying Kyoto's Traditional Beauty

Samue, historically worn by Zen monks as work attire, features a practical and simple silhouette that highlights the texture of materials, making fabric quality and tailoring crucial.
Ichimoku's Samue uses authentic Japanese traditional fabrics, exuding genuine elegance imbued with the aesthetic sensibility of Kyoto's thousand-year history.

02

Perfect for Modern Lifestyles

Samue consists of simple components—a jacket and pants—that can be worn as easily as Western clothes. Ichimoku's Samue incorporates various innovations to suit modern living. Enjoy coordinating with a rich variety of colors and patterns, benefit from convenient pockets, and appreciate easy care with home washing machine compatibility.
Effortlessly add a Japanese element to your everyday life.

03

Carefully Selected Premium Fabrics

Ichimoku's Samue is crafted from high-quality fabrics that only a premium kimono maker can provide. Particularly, Samue made with famous Japanese Tsumugi silk features both jacket and pants made entirely of silk. These rare pieces made with genuine silk are truly one-of-a-kind in both elegance and comfort.
Recommended for those who appreciate quality materials and craftsmanship.

04

Crafted by Skilled Artisans

All of Ichimoku's Samue are made by skilled artisans in our specialized in-house workshop. From fabric cutting to sewing, weaving, and finishing, every step is performed with care, requiring one to three months to complete—all for the sake of quality.
A Samue crafted with artisan spirit will surely bring you unprecedented joy and surprise.

05

Full Custom-Made to Fit
Each Individual's Body Type

Ichimoku's Samue brings joy to those who have experienced the disappointment of "buying Samue or kimono in Japan but finding they don't fit." By taking precise measurements and creating a piece tailored to your body shape, we ensure satisfaction for everyone, from those with larger builds to those with slimmer frames.

Refined Style Born
from Dedication

Using Famous Japanese Tsumugi

Tsumugi is a premium silk fabric with distinct characteristics that vary by region.
Ichimoku crafts special Samue using Tsumugi from famous Japanese regions such as Shinshu and Yuki.

Shinshu Tsumugi is characterized by its deep luster achieved through natural dyes, primarily from plants, and traditional dyeing techniques. Yuki Tsumugi is designated as a National Important Intangible Cultural Property and is known as the "King of Tsumugi."

The Supple Comfort
of Genuine Silk Tsumugi

Only a premium kimono maker like Ichimoku can create such special Samue.
The premium Samue made with genuine silk Tsumugi offers a supple texture and distinctive luster.
Despite being a luxury fabric, it has been specially treated for easy care and will conform to your body more comfortably over time.

A Rich Variety of Colors and Patterns
to Express Your Taste

To truly enjoy Samue, it's important to express your individuality through various colors and patterns.
Ichimoku offers a range from basic colors like black, blue, and gray to vibrant hues like beige, pink, and red. Additionally, you can enjoy coordinating with traditional Japanese patterns such as "Matsukawabishi" and "Sashiko," as well as dot patterns and checkered designs.

Full-Size Custom Orders

The traditional method of kimono production is custom-made, tailoring items like kimono and haori from fabric to fit each individual.
Ichimoku has incorporated full-size custom ordering to allow you to easily experience this "tailoring" tradition.
